Dr Akhsya Kumar Bisoi is Professor of Cardiac Surgery at AIIMS, New Delhi. He is an accomplished surgeon, with three decades of professional excellence and innovation to show. He has performed over 32,000 procedures, has created and made operational various effective and sustainable models of healthcare. The intention was to especially take care of the weak and deprived sections of society. Dr Bisoi has received several laurels, including the prestigious Dr B.C Roy National Award, given to Eminent Medical Teachers.
