He is synonymous with charity. At the same time, the 96-year-old Mahavir Prasad Mansinghka is considered a pioneer in country’s edible oil industry. It was his effort that established cottonseed oil as the main form of edible oil in the country. Mahavir vastly expanded his father’s business and led the Indian Cottonseed Processors Association and Soyabeen Processors Association. He is a devotee of Balaji and his charitable works include setting up Murlidhar Kripa Hospital and Research Centre in Maksi, Shajapur district, in Madhya Pradesh.
